An amazing Christmas story! It should be a movie.
Author Marilyn Peveto perfectly captures the heartbreak of hurricane devastation and losing one's home in her story, A Keepsake Christmas. From page one I was totally engrossed and several scenes brought tears to my eyes. Peveto has created a true love story--for home, for family, for memories and for neighbors. Excellent characterization. A job well done.
I loved this wonderful Christmas Novella by Marilyn Peveto. It totally captures life here in Southeast Texas. This is truly how it was a couple of years ago after hurricane Harvey. Somewhere I feel like there truly could have been a Landry.
This could be a true story for so many of us dealing with the aftermath of Hurricane Harvey. So many storms in so short a time in Southeast Texas has left many people affected by loss of home and possessions. Faith and help from family, friends and neighbors has made it possible to rebuild again and, yet, again. Thanks, Marilyn, for telling our story.
